4th of July

I am going to do my very best to blog everyday about my every day life. I'm a little late on my 4th July post but better late than never. Our 4th of July was low key and perfect. My mom made a wonderful meal of all kinds of grilled meats. I brought over a chocolate cake and my brother brought buffalo chicken dip. All was really good. My brother brought over a few fireworks to let the boys pop. After the dinner we went to a neighborhood by us and watched the big display from the park behind us. Audrey did really good and didn't cry.

This had to be documented because it's the first time Audrey has let uncle Steven hold her.

The boys made blow guns with grandpa a couple days before the 4th.

Rainbow as we were leaving my parents house. It rained a little bit but cleared up fast

Strep Throat Stinks!

My youngest boy has been really sick since Sunday. My husband took him to the doctor on Monday and he tested positive for strep. I was proud that we got him to the doctor early and that he could have the rest of the week to play. Boy was I wrong. Amoxicillin was not working. The doc had said if he didn't feel better by Wednesday to bring him back so we can test him for mono. So Wednesday came and my boy woke me up by telling me to call the doctor. My boy never tells me when he doesn't feel good so I knew this was serious. Off to the doctor we went and paid yet another co pay. Logan had to pee in a cup which mortified him. So with a different antibiotic we were on our way to do a blood test. Poor guy was so scared but he did so well. He was as white as a ghost and had to sit down half way to the car. We made it home and tonight he is feeling a little better. No word on the blood work and he still is running a fever. I am hoping tomorrow he will be better.

Just about to give blood

Couldn't make it to the car yet

Finally home

I might add he is in his room right now watching Toy Story. My favorite movie!

June favorites!

Here are a few of my favorites for the month of June. Can not believe it is already July.

I love this conceler. It looks beautiful under the eye if you put this next favorite on top.

IT Bye Bye Pores pressed powder. This powder is so silky soft and doesn't look cakey.

Can you tell I love me some IT cosmetics? This is a pressed powder foundation and I am in the color fair. I love the brush that is pictured with it. The foundation is 50 SPF.

http://www.itcosmetics.com/hello-lighttm-anti-aging-creme-illuminizer IT Hello Light anti aging crime illumizer is the most beautiful highlight for your cheeks. It's a cream to powder highlight and really looks natural.

Je Ne Sais Quoi blush by IT is a beautiful summer color. I just like it no other reason.

ELF eyebrow powder is $3 and awesome. My favorite eyebrow powder hands down!

Doesn't get better than Telescoptic carbon black by L'Oreal. It makes my poor short eyelashes look like I have long eyelashes.

Soap and Glory body butter smells so so good!

These are delicious!

And of course for tv show it is

Hope you enjoyed my favorites!

Mad Men

I'm obsessed with the show Mad Men. I secretly wish I could be the housewife that wore those cute dresses in the 1960s. If you haven't seen the show you need to. It is on Netflex and I am on season 4. My favorite part is the clothes. Look at these outfits!

I love the website Modcloth. Look at these cute clothes

Those are just a few. I wish this housewife had the money to buy these clothes!
