Buying clothes for a little girl is way more fun than I thought it would be. My mom and I went to my happy place Marshall's and got my little girl some sweet outfits. We also went to Old Navy.

Chocolate chip cookies don't last long in this house, so I make them quite a bit. They are my boys and big guy's favorite cookie. I have made just about every kind of chocolate chip cookie recipe out there. I believe I have now perfected it.
Ingredients
3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of light brown sugar
2 sticks of butter softened
2 eggs room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in a bowl with a fork. Set it aside. In your mixer mix butter with the sugars and vanilla. Mix until blended then add one egg at a time. Once blended add flour mixture a little at a time. Last add in the chocolate chips. Now it is time to eat that dough.....I know, I know you are not suppose to. But I do!
Bake at 375 degrees for about 7 minutes. Just keep checking on those bad boys. I like mine soft so 7 minutes is perfect for me.

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Lace Illuminater in Ballerina. This is so pretty and it gives such a nice highlight on your face.
Naked Basics Palette by Urban Decay is my go to eyeshadow. I use this about 7 days a week.
I've talked about this before but I love this stuff. It is called Drink Up by Orgins. I rub this stuff on my face twice a week and sleep in it. The next morning my face is so soft.
Taylor by Taylor Swift smells so amazing and it really stays on all day.
I use this foundation just about everyday. It is amazing. Nice coverage and it lasts all day. I have tried a lot of foundations and this by far is my favorite.

My kitchen rug by the sink at times would be soaked. I always believed it was my son spilling water. The hubby took out a drawer and saw mold under it. I of course freaked out and called my engineer dad. Dad came to the rescue and figured out it was my dishwasher leaking and it couldn't be fixed. You see my dad has fixed my mom's dishwasher everytime it broke. They had the same dishwasher for over 20 years. They actually just got a new fancy one but not because the old one was broke. My mom has sometimes wished my dad would say "I can not fix it we need a new one". That never happened. When dad was checking out my dishwasher I was just waiting for him to say he would be able to fix it. I heard those words my mom never heard.....you need a new one. The dishwasher was old and really couldn't be fixed.
My new dishwasher is bliss. Who knew how much a new dishwasher would make me happy. I actually like unloading and loading it. Holy cow it makes my kitchen look a lot better. We may be paying it off for years to come but I am in love. Now, I am dying for a new fridge. Anyone want to buy me one?

It's the little things like a new dishwasher that makes me happy!
The hubby made me a shelf in our closet with jewelery hooks. It took him about 30 minutes to do this project and I couldn't be happier. I love how my jewelry is on display. I still want to get a white rug and a blingy light fixture. We have to wait for another couple of paychecks.

Oh my this nail Polish makes me happy. I love the happy color. I just might wear this color everyday in the month of January. January always makes me a little down but this little gem helps. It is the little things peeps!
Revelon Colorstay Gel Envy called Up The Ante. I got mine at Walgreens for $7.99 but I had a coupon so I got it for $5.99.
I received this mascara for Christmas. First off I have shortest eyelashes in the world. They have no curl and stick straight out. Oh the struggles. I have tried fake lashes but by the end of the night they are hanging on my cheek. It is not cute and they feel like weights. The Younique mascara is pretty cool. It really does make your eyelashes long and thick. The directions say to put one coat of your favorite mascara and let it dry. Next you put on the Younique gel and immediately put on the fiber lash mascara. For the final coat you put on one more coat of the gel mascara.

So I really do like this stuff. It is expensive so I will only use it on special nights. You know the nights I go to Sams Wholesale Club. Yep that is exciting as it gets around here.
There is a lot of coffee scrubs out there. I looked up many recipes and decided to try my own little recipe. I have been using this scrub about once a week and I am in love. It really brightens and leaves my face and body so soft. Coffee is really good for your skin. You can google the benefits and see how many benefits it really has.
Ingredients
1/4 cup of coffee. I use coffee granules that have been brewed.
1/4 cup of brown sugar.
1 teaspoon of cinnamon (cinnamon plumps the skin)
A little squeeze of lemon. (Lemon brightens the face)
2 teaspoons of coconut oil ( coconut oil has ton of benefits too)
Mix all the dry ingredients and then add in coconut oil and lemon. Store in air tight container. I put mine in a mason jar. I store mine in the refrigerator.
If you know me then you know I love makeup. Drugstore or high end brand It doesn't matter I love it all. My mom knows me well because she got me some awesome makeup for Christmas. QVC is a makeup girls dream. They have the most awesome deals on makeup. This year my mom got me Laura Geller and Tarte.
Up first is Tarte. This came with 2 lipsticks, 1 gloss, 2 mascaras, 3 eye pencils, 2 blushes, and 2 eyeshadow palettes.
The blushes are called Pampered and Savored. I really love them both. If I had to pick I would pick Pampered which is a little bit more mauve than the other.
The mascaras are the Lights Cameras Lashes. Love these. They really lengthen and give volume to the eyes.
2 lipsticks are Wonder and Rare. Rare is a bit more brown colored and Rare is a mauvey pink. Love them both. Tarte lipsticks are my favorite. They have that minty feel. Worth the money but Revelon colorsticks are also very much like Tarte.
3 eyeliners are bronze, black, and plum. They are nice but not sure they are any better then drugstore.
Lipgloss is called Indulging. It's really sticky feeling but stays on a long time. Its a pinky color.
The 2 eye palettes have very nice colors. They are soft and have a lot of pigment. I do like Tartes eyeshadows.
Next up is the Laura Gellar.
My favorite is the Baked Gelato Lace Illuminator in the color Ballerina. So worth the money. It gives the face a nice glow. So pretty. I use this with the angle face brush it came with. Its awesome!
The mascara is StyleLash Intense Lengthening Mascara. I love the wand in this. It really coats all your lashes. It awesome.
The Baked Color Foundation in Fair is different for me. I'm use to liquid foundation. I have not used this on its own but I dust it on my face after liquid foundation. I like it so far and I am going to try it on its own soon.
The eyeshadow is wonderful. It goes on so soft and blends really nice. The color is smokey plums. One is shimmery and the other is matte. These are nice colors for blue eyes.
I'm very into my makeup. I'm so lucky to have a momma that knows me.
