I love fall decorating! I don't have a ton of decorations but honestly I like the clean look better.
Super easy donuts.
Ingredients
2 cans Pillsbury canned biscuits.
Vegetable oil
Powdered sugar
Milk
I dont really measure anything. Just put some oil in a med size sauce pan. Heat the oil until it looks hot. Make a hole in your biscuit and drop into oil. You want it to look a golden brown color on both sides. Once browned put donut on paper towels. To make icing use about a cup of powdered sugar with about a tablespoon of milk. You can make it how you want really. Dip your donuts in the icing and your done.
My poor face has pregnancy mask. I hate it and feel so ugly with it. The problem is with breastfeeding I can not use any skin care products. So the next best thing is to cover it up with makeup. I was determined to find a foundation that would cover but not look thick. Mac foundation that I tried did not cover the brown spots any better then my Covergirl foundation. I tried a lot on that day and the only one that covered was Kat Von D Lockit Tattoo Foundation. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. My opinion is it is perfect. It doesn't feel "tacky" or "cakey" it just looks flawless. A little goes a long way so my bottle should last a long time. I got mine at Sephora for $34.
This smoothie is so good. I love the taste of it and believe it or not dad and two boys love it too. Super easy to make and it fills you up.
Ingredients
1 banana
1/2 cup ice
1 cup milk
Spoonful of peanut butter
I package of chocolate Carnation Breakfast Essentials
Put all this in your blender and blend!

It is finally starting to feel like fall. I made the best chicken tortilla soup yesterday. I just had to share!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Small onion diced
Carrot peeled and chopped
Celery stick diced
1 red bell pepper diced
1 clove garlic minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 quart chicken stalk
1 cup water
1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes
1 cup half and half
Shredded cooked chicken
Shredded cheese (optional)
Sour cream (optional)
Avocado (optional)
Heat oil in dutch oven or large pot until hot. Add carrots, onion, celery, and red pepper. Stir the veggies until soft. Add salt and pepper to season.
Add garlic and all the spices. Cook for about 2 minutes. Then add water, chicken stock, and canned tomatoes. Simmer for about 20 minutes. I also added salt and pepper to season.
Bring the soup to a boil and add about 7 tortillas that are cut into strips. Stir until the tortillas thicken the soup. Simmer for about 40 minutes.
Before serving add half and half and fried tortilla strips
Tortilla strips are easy to make. Cut about 7 tortillas into strips. Heat some oil in a skillet about 350 degrees and add the strips. Cook until golden brown.
Garnish with anything you want!
I used the recipe from The Chow but it is not exact. I changed some stuff.
I bought this candle not thinking I would really like it. I am not one for a really sweet smell but this scent is very mild. This candle is from Yankee called Campfire Treat. It has a light smell of wood and marshmallow. It's not a strong smell so if your looking for something that is really strong this wouldn't be for you.
Lush has lip scrub and I always want to buy it. For some reason I am to cheap to purchase it. I made my own using pretty much the same products.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
A couple of drops of vanilla
A drop of honey
Mix all together and put in a container with lid. Scrub your lips gently with the mixture. Safe enough to eat!
Can you believe September is over with? I have just a few favorites this month.
My mom bought me this Benefit Porefessional and I love this stuff. My pores disappear with this stuff!
Revelon lip stains are just like Tarte lip products but half the price. They have that minty feeling.
Maybelline under eye cream is my favorite. I just started using this stuff in the beginning of September and I am sold. It doesn't show my fine lines.
Ole Henrikson truth serum feels so nice on my face. Honestly I have not noticed a huge difference but I love the way it smells and feels.
Oh my goodness I have a slight problem with okra chips. I love love them.
So there you have it my September favorites. Stay tuned to see if I get my kids to do their favorites!
I have been putting this dresser for 4 months now. My poor boys have been using a butter knife to open their drawers. I wanted to get really cool drawer pulls but we have been spending our money on more important things. Drawer pulls are not cheap! My youngest boy was done using the butter knife so off to Dollar Tree I went. The rope was the only thing that I really could use. For $1 we now have drawer pulls. I really like them. Of course the expensive drawer pulls would look better but we now i can put away the butter knife.
The horrible drawer pulls before.
