I saw on the highway today a awesome pink cadillac. At first I thought it was white but it was white with a hint of pink. It was a Mary Kay car. It reminded me of the time when I was younger maybe 12 and my dad was out of town for something. My mom asked me if I wanted to go to a movie and of course I saw the title of a movie called Pink Cadillac. I told her I had to see that but only because it had a Pink Cadillac. I wanted to drive one of those old fancy convertible pink Cadillacs when I got older. The movie was not very good though for a 12 year old. Who knows maybe I would like it now. I just remember being bored in the theater. These days they don't look anything like the old 1959 pink Cadillacs...no sir they are brand stinking new Cadillacs. Kind of sad..I would love to see cruisin on the highway a older lady with big blonde hair in her Mary Kay 1959 convertible Cadillac.

Are those cherry tomatoes?
Why no they aren't but they are the biggest tomatoes that I have gotten in my garden. SAD!!! I will make a special little plate tonight for them.
Basil Pesto Chicken Bake
I played around with things in the kitchen yesterday and this is what I came up with. It turned out really good. I semi followed a recipe on the pesto.
2 cups of pesto
2 gloves of garlic
a little splash of lemon
1/4 cup of pine nuts (UMMM WHY ARE THOSE SOOO EXPENSIVE?)
1/2 cup of olive oil
In a food processor or blender blend all the ingredients. End it with some black pepper and salt to taste.
Next I took my chicken with salt and pepper and topped it with the pesto. I added some fresh grated parmesan cheese. Bake it at 350 for 30 minutes or until no longer pink. That is it folks!
I took pics of course!

Yummy cookies
My hubbys grandma use to make these awesome cookies. I would always just eat one because I didn't want to look like a pig. I really could of eaten the whole darn batch of them. They are so good! I would love to share with the world..or just the few that look at my blog. Try them
1 package of peanut butter cookie dough (gma may of made her own)
1 package of Reeces peanut butter cups The little ones (pic at bottom)
1 mini muffin pan
Preheat oven to 350 and spray your mini muffin pan real good.
roll some dough in a ball in put in your mini muffin pan. I smash it down a bit. Then bake for about 7 minutes or less. They should be browned a little. Take those babies out of the oven and put your peanut butter cup right in the middle. Cool them and then carefully take them out of the pan. I sometimes put mine in the freezer to make sure they come out real good.

What to post what to post! I have no idea what to post anymore! I will just tell you about my weekend. I went and saw horrible bosses. There that's about all. Sunday night the hubby made dinner with me. We made grilled porkchops, mashed potatoes, grilled squash, and sliced fresh tomatoes. Yummy!
We have been thinking of fostering/adopting a baby girl. If anyone out there has done this then please talk to me.
Well maybe I will have something awesome will happen today and I can post it.

Ugh really!
I along with the rest of the world has been watching the Casey Anthony case. I am sick about it! I feel so sorry for the jurors though. I mean could you imagine living with this every day knowing you let a crazy killer out on the streets? I wish I could of just taken that sweet baby girl. Ok I just had to mention this case.

Easy burritos
I made some burritos for dinner the other night. I just put frozen chicken breast in the crock pot all day with a package of burrito sauce packet. I added a can of black beans and rotel. Put some flour tortillas in foil and put in the oven until soft. I just added some hot sauce and cheese sauce on my burrito.
