It Blows!

My neighbors are moving and it makes me so sad! My kid plays with her kid and she so happens to be a cop. I wanted to do a little something but I didn't have the money to do something big. I saw this idea on Pinterest so off to Dollar Tree it was. It cost me a whopping $3!

So here it is!

Back To School Shopping

Ugh dreadful school time. I hate those back to school commercials! I still get a pit in my stomach when they come on. So nana took me and the kids shopping to the outdoor outlet mall. We had a hot but good time. After nana bought the boys some things (thank you nana!) we went to eat at Ricky's Cafe. I have taught my boys to love Mexican food.

Logan's favorite thing to do is get a bottle coke!

Daddy is off Work!

My hubby very rarely has a day off work but today he was home. The boys really wanted to see the movie The Minions so we did just that. Thank goodness hubby was home to watch Audrey. I got to enjoy a good movie with my two favorite boys. Logan had a large popcorn and a refill of it. The car ride home I couldn't say popcorn without him gagging. That boy is so funny.

Dinner tonight was an easy taco casserole.

after dinner the kids played in the water hose.

Taco Casserole recipe

Ok first off let me tell you I don't measure anything.

1lb of ground beef

Picante sauce

1 can of (15 oz) retried beans

I package of taco seasoning

1 cup cheddar cheese

Corn tortillas

Brown the beef and drain fat.

Add taco seasoning and cook according to package directions.

In a medium bowl mix beans with about a cup of picante or salsa.

Put 2 tortillas on bottom of 8x8 dish

Spread a little of the salsa/bean mixture on top of the tortillas followed by a scoup of meat mixture

Do the same thing in layers. Tortillas-bean/salsa-meat mixture until you run out of your ingredients

On the last layer top with cheese

Bake 375 until bubbly hot

It's been two weeks of strep for the Webb household. I have it now and let me tell you it sucks bad. We had to get out of the house sick or not. Boys wanted to see the Minnion movie but it didn't work out so off to the air conditioned mall. I work at the mall but I am always up for a trip to the mall. First thing we did was eat because we can never go someplace without one of my kids starving. Logan had his usual Taco Bell two burritos with a mango tea. Blaine had Chick fil a because his favorite pizza place was closed. I had eaten avacodo on toast before we left so I did not eat. Audrey was suppose to eat chicken nuggets but that failed. Next stop was See's candy because doesn't everyone stop there to get their free sample of chocolate? No, just me? Well momma scored because all three samples of chocolate had nuts. Boys do not like nuts....score for me! I made a quick trip to Sephora for the new Jaclyn Hill highlight but they were all sold out. My boys love to sit in the message chairs that are by the Lush store. Of course I went in Lush but I can not bring myself to spend money on bath bombs. I really wish I could because I love them! The trip to the mall was short. I felt awful and was ready for nap. My hubby was helping a friend after work so on to SAMs we went. We go there often and its a perfect place to eat with three kids on a tight budget. It was 97 degrees out so we went to the park. Dumb but I was not ready to go home. That completes our Friday. Boys are in bed and one episode of Mad Men down. Good night!

My Week

This strep needs to go! Audrey now has it and so does her biggest brother Blaine. The on call nurse that I called told me that it is really rare for a baby to get strep. You know as soon as she told me that I had a feeling she had it. Audrey hasn't had the best luck on not getting sick. The doctor confirmed it.....strep. That night was complete H-E-double hockey sticks. Audrey cried all night long! So I have had two nights of no sleep but I am still truckin along. We went back to doctor today and her tonsils were worse so new medicine for missy. Wish us luck. By way my sweet Blaine ran102 fever right before I wrote this.

Monday before all heck broke loose I made an angel food cake with strawberry icing like my grandma use to make. All the icing is blended up strawberry juice and powdered sugar.

4th of July

I am going to do my very best to blog everyday about my every day life. I'm a little late on my 4th July post but better late than never. Our 4th of July was low key and perfect. My mom made a wonderful meal of all kinds of grilled meats. I brought over a chocolate cake and my brother brought buffalo chicken dip. All was really good. My brother brought over a few fireworks to let the boys pop. After the dinner we went to a neighborhood by us and watched the big display from the park behind us. Audrey did really good and didn't cry.

This had to be documented because it's the first time Audrey has let uncle Steven hold her.

The boys made blow guns with grandpa a couple days before the 4th.

Strep Throat Stinks!

My youngest boy has been really sick since Sunday. My husband took him to the doctor on Monday and he tested positive for strep. I was proud that we got him to the doctor early and that he could have the rest of the week to play. Boy was I wrong. Amoxicillin was not working. The doc had said if he didn't feel better by Wednesday to bring him back so we can test him for mono. So Wednesday came and my boy woke me up by telling me to call the doctor. My boy never tells me when he doesn't feel good so I knew this was serious. Off to the doctor we went and paid yet another co pay. Logan had to pee in a cup which mortified him. So with a different antibiotic we were on our way to do a blood test. Poor guy was so scared but he did so well. He was as white as a ghost and had to sit down half way to the car. We made it home and tonight he is feeling a little better. No word on the blood work and he still is running a fever. I am hoping tomorrow he will be better.

Just about to give blood

Couldn't make it to the car yet

Finally home

I might add he is in his room right now watching Toy Story. My favorite movie!
